Mainpat: The Tibetan Refugee Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited (TRMCS), Mainpat, has been conferred with the Regional Cooperative Excellence and Merit Award 2025 by the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC), Chhattisgarh.

The award ceremony was held on 24 December 2025 at the Circuit House, Civil Lines, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The function was graced by Dr C. R. Prasanna, IAS, Secretary, Cooperation Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, as the Chief Guest, and Shri Kuldeep Sharma, IAS, Commissioner (Cooperation) and Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Government of Chhattisgarh, as the Special Guest. Other distinguished attendees included Shri K. N. Kande, Managing Director, Apex Bank, Chhattisgarh, and Shri Kinchit Joshi, Regional Director, NCDC, Raipur.

On behalf of TRMCS Mainpat, Tsewang Yangtso, Settlement Officer, Tamding Tsering, Chief Executive Officer of TRMSC and Tsering Dhondup, Secretary of TRMSC attended the award function.

The award was presented by the Chief Guest and Special Guest, comprising a memento and a cash prize of ₹35,000, in recognition of TRMCS Mainpat’s outstanding contribution to cooperative development.
