
Bylakuppe: Four days training on basic emergency medical care for Doctors, Nurses and community health workers under the Department of Health started Tuesday at Tsojhe Khangsar Hospital, Bylakuppe. The workshop will conclude on 15 February.
The training, which is being conducted by Narayanna Multispecialty Hospital, Mysore, will cover vast aspects of managing and handling emergency cases such as Cardiac arrest, Stroke, Burns, Bites, Poisoning, and Eclampsia etc. One day practical training is allotted for Basic Life support (BLS) and Advance life support (ACLS).
Participants include six doctors, 22 nurses and community health workers of the Health Department, CTA.
The training being organized by the Department of Health is funded by USAID.
