
Kamrao: The Tibetan settlements in Kamrao and Sataun, located at the southeastern end of Himachal Pradesh, joyously celebrated the 90th birthday of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama over three days with festivities and a charitable feast.
In Kamrao, the celebration was held in the presence of chief guest Khatri Singh, a local mining owner, and special guest, the Pradhan of Kamrao, along with other distinguished guests. On the following day, the Tibetan settlers participated in various games and competitions.
In Sataun, the event was graced by chief guest Mamta Toman, Pradhan of Sataun, and special guest Rajnish Chauhan, a member of the Indo-Tibetan Friendship Society. Several dignitaries and guests also attended the celebration. On the next day, a food distribution drive was organised for the local residents of Sataun as a gesture of gratitude toward the Indian government and in honour of His Holiness’ 90th birth anniversary.
