Arunachal Pradesh: Tenzingang Tibetan Settlement Officer (TSO) Rapten Tsering attended a funeral for Ama Lezang la, the mother of Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu, on 1 July 2024, at his residence in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh.

TSO Rapten Tsering, representing the Kashang, Central Tibetan Administration Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, met Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu at his residence in Tawang on the evening of 30 June 2024 and presented Sikyong’s Condolence message for his late Ama Lezang La, who passed away on 26 June 2024, at Naherlagun, Arunachal Pradesh.

The Tibetan Settlement Officer was accompanied by Phuntsok Tsering, the President of the Local Tibetan Assembly Tenzingang, Ven Jamba Tsering, the Chakzoe of Gyuto Monastery Tenzingang, and Tendar, the President of BRDL Tawang.

On behalf of the Tibetan Community in Tenzingang, TSO expressed his profound sympathy and condolences to the Chief Minister and his family members over this irreparable loss.
