Sweden: A two-day event was organised featuring exclusive screenings of two documentaries, Opera som livskraft and Wisdom of Happiness, each followed by a Q&A session. The event was jointly organised by V-TAG Sweden, the Tibetan Community in Sweden (TCS), the Swedish Tibet Committee (STK), and film director Gunilla Palo Nordlund.
On the first day, 6 September 2025, preparations began two hours before the screening, with members of the Tibetan Community in Sweden and the Swedish Tibet Committee arranging tea, coffee, cookies, and traditional khapse. Meanwhile, V-TAG Sweden set up an information booth to welcome attendees.
As the audience settled into the auditorium, V-TAG members served refreshments. The screening of Opera som livskraft commenced at 3:30 p.m. CET and ran for one hour. Immediately following the film, a 30-minute Q&A session was held with director Gunilla Palo Nordlund and Jamyang Choedon, Vice-President of the Tibetan Community in Sweden.
After clearing of the cinema hall, V-TAG Sweden reopened its booth, where brochures were distributed, discussions were held with attendees, and items were put on sale to further raise awareness of Tibet.
The second day of the event, on 7 September, featured the documentary Wisdom of Happiness. Preparations began two hours before the screening, with the V-TAG information booth opening an hour in advance. The film began at 6:00 p.m. CET and ran for one and a half hours. Following the screening, a 30-minute Q&A session was held with Jamyang Choedon, Vice-President of STK, and Mattias Björnerstedt, President of STK.
The two-day programme successfully combined documentary screenings, interactive Q&A sessions, complimentary Tibetan refreshments, and a V-TAG information booth offering brochures and fundraising items, thereby promoting Tibetan culture and raising awareness on Tibet-related issues among the wider public.
