Switzerland: Representative of the Office of Tibet joined the Tibetan Community in Switzerland and Liechtenstein (TCSL) in a three-day Maha Guru Bumtsok prayer ceremony organised by the TCSL, which commenced on 14 May 2026.

The prayer ceremony was presided over by Khenpo Karma Tsetan of Rumtek Shedrub Choekhorling, the seat of His Holiness the Gyalwa Karmapa. Representatives from the Tibet Bureau in Geneva, including the Chinese Liaison Officer for European countries, attended the opening day of the prayer ceremony, along with members of the local Tibetan community.

Nearly 600 people attended the prayer ceremony, including a monastic assembly led by the Khenpo of the Tibet Institute Rikon in Switzerland and members of the public.
