Geneva- On the eve of the 73rd International Human Rights Day, 09 December 2021, the Tibet Bureau Geneva will organise a virtual panel titled “A Year in Review-2021: Reports and Publications on Tibet”.
The virtual panel discussion will be broadcast live via Tibet TV Facebook page from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm India Time (New York time- 9:00 to 10:00 am; Geneva Time- 3:00- 4:00 pm).
The speakers of the panel include Tenzin Lekshay, Spokesperson of the Central Tibetan Administration; Sophie Richardson, China Director Human Rights Watch and Decoding CCP team Tsering Dorjee, a senior Tibetan researcher, and Ila Schoop Rutten, Advocacy and Communication consultant for Decoding CCP project, TCHRD.
The panel will discuss and deliberate on the situation in Tibet surrounding to the reports and publications on Tibet in 2021: CTA’s latest official response to China’s White paper on Tibet; Human Rights Watch’s detailed analysis on China’s crackdown on monks of Tengdro Monastery in Dingri Tibetan area in so-called Tibet Autonomous Region and decoding CCP’s political jargons, slogans and phrases by Tibetan Center for Human Rights and Democracy based in Dharamshala, India.
