Paris: Department of Information and International Relations’ Tibet Advocacy Section staff under secretary Tenzin Palmo and her colleague Rinchen held a meeting with V-TAG members and representatives of Tibetan Associations at the Office of Tibet in Paris on 23 September 2022.
The new Coordinator of Office of Tibet – Paris, Thupten Tsering, introduced two staff members to other attendees.
Under Secretary Tenzin Palmo and her colleague, Rinchen, mentioned that the very purpose of the meeting is to activate V-TAG by choosing a leader in the region, making an action plan and introducing members to the Office of Tibet and Tibetan associations in France.
V-TAG member Tenzin Pema expressed its high time for the Tibetans to do something for the cause of Tibet, and he found V-TAG is the right platform and opportunity for it.
The meeting was an in-depth interactive discussion with members regarding how to carry forward the Tibet Advocacy in France, followed by a question and answer session.
The meeting concludes with a vote of thanks by coordinator Thupten Tsering to all the attendees and also explained the need to enhance Tibet advocacy in France and requested Tibetan Associations to support the V-TAG initiative. He also hopes that more Tibetans in France will join this program.
