
Tezu: The Dhargyeling Tibetan Settlement Officer, Kunga Jigmey, accompanied by the Office Secretary and the Representative of Lhagon Jangchup Choeling Monastery, paid a formal visit to the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Dr. Chowna Mein, to extend an official invitation to attend the upcoming birthday celebration of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama at Tezu Dhargyeling. The Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister has graciously accepted the invitation and will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
“We are also deeply honoured to announce that Dzogchen Ganor Rinpoche will attend the celebration as the Guest of Honour,” remarked Settlement Officer Kunga Jigmey.
In addition, a formal invitations have been extended to the Hon’ble Members of the Legislative Assembly from the surrounding constituencies, as well as to the Deputy Commissioners of Lohit and Namsai districts, the Inspector General of Police, Namsai, and the Superintendents of Police of both Lohit and Namsai districts.
As a gesture of respect and appreciation, each esteemed invitee was also presented with a book of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s recent publication, The Voice of the Voiceless, along with the official invitation.
