Dharamshala: Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, visited the Gaden Trithokhang on 25 December 2025 to receive an audience with the 105th Gaden Tripa, Jetsun Lobsang Dorjee Pal Sangpo Rinpoche.

Earlier in the day, the Speaker paid his respects at several monasteries in Mundgod, including Drepung Loseling, Drepung Gomang, Drepung Lachi, Rato Monastery, Kagyu Monastery, Jangchup Choeling Nunnery, Gaden Lachi, Gaden Shartse, Gaden Jangtse, and Nyingma Monastery.

At each monastery, the Speaker was accorded a warm welcome by the respective Khenpos and Chakzoes. During his visits, he was accompanied by Mundgod TSO Secretary Tenzin Lodoe and Drepung Chakzoe Lerog Geshe Ngawang Norbu.

At Drepung Loseling Monastery, the Speaker was received by Chagzoe Geshe Athuk, Chagzoe Geshe Tsultrim Lodoe, and Chagzoe Geshe Yulgyal; at Drepung Gomang, by Chagzoe Geshe Kalsang Paljor and Chagzoe Geshe Tseten Namgyal; and at Drepung Lachi, by Chagzoe Geshe Yeshi Tsedup and Chagzoe Geshe Lodoe Nyima.

At Rato Monastery, the Speaker was received by Chagzoe Geshe Tseten Wangchuk and Chagzoe Geshe Sherap. Upon arrival at Kagyu Monastery, he was welcomed by Chagzoe Karma Dhargyal, and at Jangchup Choeling Nunnery by Khenpo Jamphel Tsundu and Chagzoe Samten Choedon.

At Gaden Lachi, the Speaker was welcomed by Chagzoe Geshe Jampa Gyaltsen and Chagzoe Geshe Tenzin Namgyal. At Gaden Shartse, he was received by Chagzoe Geshe Jangchup Thupten and Chagzoe Geshe Lekdhen, while at Gaden Jangtse, he was welcomed by Chagzoe Geshe Lobsang Dawa, Chagzoe Geshe Ngawang Ludup, and Secretary Gen Phuntsok Tsering.

At Nyingma Monastery, the Speaker was received by Khenpo Yonten Sangpo and Chagzoe Tenzin Dorjee.
