Dharamshala: Central Tibetan Administration’s Sikyong Penpa Tsering arrived in Brazil on Sunday, 1 October for his maiden visit to South American countries. Sikyong was received at the Sao Paulo airport by Representative Jigme Tsering, Lama Rinchen of Tibet House, and Tibet Supporters Sandra Fernandes Erickson and Daniel Sermento.
On his first day in Sao Paulo, Sikyong participated in the Longevidade Expo+ Forum. He met with Walter Feldman, the Committee’s president and Francisco Santos, the Committee’s founder for a discussion on Tibet, and the Central Tibetan Administration’s concerns and priorities.
In the afternoon, Sikyong visited the Tibet House and later sat for an interview with the Indian Eye, a news portal in Brazil.
