Geneva: Sakya delegation led by Sakya  Trizin Ratna Vajra Rinpoche visited Switzerland at the invitation of the Tsechen Association in Switzerland & Liechtenstein from 11 July to 14 July 2025 as part of the delegation’s Europe tour. Representative Thinlay Chukki of the Tibet Bureau received the Sakya Trinzin Ratna Vajra Rinpoche-led delegation upon arrival in Switzerland on 11 July 2025.

On the second day of the visit, Kyabje Sakya Trizin Ratna Rinpoche bestowed the Manjushri Gangloma initiation, followed by a profound teaching in the afternoon Buddha Amitayu long life initiation and the Vajrakilaya blessing for the public. An estimated number of over 700 Tibetans and Tibetan Buddhist followers gathered to receive the empowerment. Representative Thinlay Chukki, along with monks from Rikon Tibet Institute and the President of the Tibetan Community in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Drongpatsang Ngedun Gyatso and a former member of the Tibetan parliament in Exile, attended the empowerment initiation. All the attendees were granted individual blessings.

The Sakya Delegation also included the Jetsunma Kunga Thinley Palter.
