Ravangla: The Kunphenling Tibetan Settlement office in Ravangla, in collaboration with the Kunphenling Co-operative Societies, U-Tsang Association, Dotoe Association, RTYC and RTWA, ex-army personnel, Middle Way Association, and students of Sambhota Tibetan School, Ravangla, orchestrated a special gathering at the community hall on 19 July 2024, to express profound appreciation to the US government for the enactment of the Tibet Resolve Act.

The gathering was graced by distinguished figures from the community, including the Chairman of LTA, the President of BRDL, and the leaders of other prominent organisations. This was followed by a speech from the settlement officer about the Tibet Resolve Act of 2024 and a speech from the LTA chairman expressing gratitude on behalf of the Ravangla Tibetan community people.

The event concluded with President Ravangla of BRDL delivering a note of appreciation to all members for their efforts in organising the special event to demonstrate support for the Act. The event showcased traditional dances such as the Tibetan circle dance (Gorshey).
