
President and Members of Tibet Support Group of Arunachal Pradesh Visit Tenzingang Tibetan Settlement Office
Tenzingang: On 24 July 2024, Shri R. K. Khrimey, former Member of Parliament, National Convenor, Core Group for Tibetan Cause; Shri Tarh Tarak, President of Tibet Support Group of Arunachal Pradesh (TSGAP); and General Secretary Shri Nima Sengye, along with TSGAP Members and Tsering Wangmo, ZPM Shergaon, visited the Tenzingang Tibetan Settlement Office and interacted with Tibetan Settlement Officer Rapten Tsering during a meeting.
Shri R. K. Khrimey shared his vast experience on many important topics and stressed the need to create more awareness among their local people about Tibet and the Tibetan cause. He added, “Tibetans are known globally due to His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and the long-standing Sino-Tibetan conflict must be resolved through dialogue between China and His Holiness the Dalai Lama or his representatives, or Central Tibetan Administration Leadership without preconditions.
Shri Tarh Tarak, President of Tibet Support Group of Arunachal Pradesh (TSGAP), assured his commitment to working for Tibetan Cause in Arunachal Pradesh under his Leadership with active team members. “We had a discussion about the future action plan of TSGAP in coordination with Tibetan Settlement Officers. TSGAP will keep in touch with the State Government of Arunachal Pradesh for granting humanitarian assistance to the Tibetan people,” he stated.
All TSGAP members visited Tenzingang-based Gyuto Monastery to seek blessing from Lord Buddha and were later hosted a luncheon in their honour by Tibetan camp leaders.
