Paonta: As part of the ongoing celebration to honour His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday and the Year of Compassion, the Paonta Cholsum Regional Ghoton Organising Committee organised a prayer service on 17 December 2025, coinciding with an auspicious day of White Wednesday.

From 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, members of the local Tibetan community gathered at the Paonta Cholsum community hall to recite prayers and accumulate mantras for the long life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the fulfilment of His Holiness’ noble commitments.
