Poanta Cholsum Settlement Office Organises Prayer Service in Solidarity with Pahalgam Victims.

Poanta: On 26 April 2025, Cholsum Settlement Office organised a prayer service to express solidarity with the victims of the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, where several lives were lost and many others were injured.

The ceremony was held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the community hall, with participation from the Shalu monastery and local Tibetan residents.

During the gathering, Poanta Cholsum Tibetan Settlement Officer Gelek Jamyang expressed, “The main purpose of today’s prayer service is to offer prayers and express our solidarity with those who lost their lives in the recent terrorist incidents. We also pray for the quick recovery of those who were injured in these tragic events.”

The community came together in a show of compassion, prayers and support for those affected by this tragedy.
