
Dharamshala: As per the programme of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, Parliamentarians Choedak Gyatso and Gonpo Dhundup on 27 June visited the 12 camps of Sonamling Settlement in Ladakh, as well as the new settlements in Maque and Chushul. During these visits, they held detailed discussions with the local village leaders and representatives of each camp to gain a thorough understanding of the local conditions, challenges, and ongoing projects.
The parliamentarians were accompanied during the visit by Dhundup Tsering, Chair of the Local Tibetan Assembly; Tashi Dhundup, the Chief Representative Officer (CRO) of Ladakh; and Karma Rinchen, Secretary of the Chief Representative’s Office.
