Taiwan: The Office of Tibet based in Taiwan in collaboration with Human Rights committee of the Taiwanese Parliament, and Taiwanese Parliamentary Group for Tibet, released a book titled ‘Tibet was never a part of China’ in Chinese on the 63rd anniversary of the Tibetan National Uprising Day. The book written by Prof Liu Han Chin was published by Gangjong Publications of the Office of Tibet, Taiwan.

The Human Rights committee of the Taiwanese Parliament and the Taiwanese Parliamentary Group for Tibet, also issued a statement condemning the Chinese government’s policies in Tibet at the book launch.

The book launch was attended by Representative Bawa Kelsang Gyaltsen, Taiwanese parliamentarian Freddy Lim, and Taiwanese Parliamentarian Wang Tingyu, Chair of the Human Rights Committee of the Taiwanese Parliament, among others.
