Washington: The newly established IPKMedia organized a Seminar titled “100 years of China with CCP” with 100 hours of discussion on the evil impacts of the Chinese Communist Party. The inaugural session was held in the IPKMedia headquarters in Virginia where prominent Chinese democracy leaders attended.
Representative Ngodup Tsering also attended the inaugural session and was accompanied by Tsultrim Gyatso, the Chinese Liaison officer. Professor Cai Xia, a well known Chinese dissident who used to train CCP leaders, Chen Guangcheng, a prominent Chinese human rights lawyer, Wang Dan, a prominent China democracy leader, were present among others.
Representative Ngodup Tsering highlighted the scale of destruction brought upon Tibet’s culture, language, and religion—unfortunately these atrocities are still continuing aggressively under the present regime. He expounded upon the Middle Way Approach as a way forward and the Central Tibetan Administration’s commitment to it. He stated that Communist China is now isolated by the freedom loving countries of the world mainly due to their repressive policies and abuse of human rights of the Chinese, Tibetans, Uyghurs, and Hongkongers, to name a few.
Professor Cai Xia explained how the CCP is becoming more belligerent and abusive every year. Dr. Chen Guangcheng mentioned that, under the CCP, millions of children were killed before they were born.
Wangdan declared that the only way for China is to bring an end to the Communist dictatorship and usher in democracy. He highlighted the need for Chinese dissidents to work in unity. Mr. Su Xiaokang, a Chinese intellectual, stated the CCP, instead of showing gratitude to Tibetans for their help during their Long March, invaded and destroyed Tibetans’ culture and identity.
Number of prominent Chinese democracy leaders from Australia, Europe, and Taiwan participated in the event. Tenzin Deden, China Desk from the CTA’s Department of Information & International Relations, Kelsang Gyaltsen, CTA’s Representative of Taiwan, and Tsultrim Gyatso will continue to participate in this conference till June 30th.
