New Delhi: The Wuhan COVID-19 Pandemic that has created the circumstances for exposing the ill-designed policies and hard facts of the Chinese Communist Government. The way Communist China has tortured and destroyed the lives and institution of Tibetan heritage, crushed down upon their own Chinese students and youth of democratic activism at Tiananmen square, expunging the treaty with Hong Kong’s One Nation –Two System, blockading the prosperity of Taiwanese democratic elections and institutions, forced labour camps in Xinjiang and so forth that China has attempted to cover with their stories have all become naked before the world.
Clearly, in order to evade their own internal crisis, they have attempted the distraction methodology by waging territorial expansionism at Indo -Tibet border which is unfortunately now known as Sino-India border. With the people and government of India, bullet and wallet, facts and reasoning, it is the time for all of us to renew our strategy and adopt constructive mechanism in creating a unified voice against the expansionist policy of Communist China. And for this reason, Mr Rinchen Khandu Khrimey, National Convener, Core Group for Tibetan Cause- India called for an internal discussion upon the matter on 8 August from 11 am to 1 pm. The meeting was convened by ITCO (India Tibet Coordination Office) Coordinator Mr Jigmey Tsultrim, in his opening remarks, he welcomed all the members for joining this important session and expressed gratitude for keeping the flame of Tibet’s hope alive. He further emphasized how Tibet Support Groups of various organizations can understand each other to serve their common goal as the issue of Tibet came into limelight due to Covid19 pandemic.
Mr Rinchen Khandu Khrimey, National Convener, Core Group for Tibetan Cause- India he enlightened the current issue of Tibet and condemned expansionist policy of Communist China. He praised the Modi govt for its Atma Nirbhar Bharat initiative for making India a self-reliant country and requested all the members to take more active initiatives on raising Tibet’s Issue at the national level.
Mr Surender Kumar, National Co-Convener of East Region and Mr Arvind Nikose of National Co-Convener of West Region spoke on their prolonged effort for the Tibet cause and boycott of Chinese goods. Mr Vijay Kranti expressed that since the world has seen the real face of China and are uniting to fight against it and therefore he suggested Tibetans to utilize this opportunity.
Ms Rinzin Choedon, National Director-Students for Free Tibet India has explained their activities and programs they have conducted so far. Other such participants who have shared their views are Dr Devendra Pal of Antarashtriya Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Samiti, Mr Pankaj Goyal Regional Convener Delhi / BTSM National General Secretary, Mr Sunil Sariputra of Samta Sainik Dal, Mr Bhupinder Khansal National President of Himalaya Parivar, Mr Nima Sange Secretary TSG Arunachal Pradesh.
