Leh, Ladakh: As part of their official visitation programme to the Ladakh which commenced on 22 June 2026, the members of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, Choedak Gyatso and Gonpo Dhundup, received an audience with Kyabje Thiksey Rinpoche on 8 July 2026. On the same day, they also met with Shri Tashi Gyalson, the former Chief Executive Councillor of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council.

Furthermore, on that day, the two parliamentarians also paid visits to Thiksey Monastery and Shey Monastery.
