Mandi: Mandi Tibetan Welfare Officer, Tenzin Tsultem and Office Secretary along with the Local Tibetan Assembly President and member paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Deputy Commissioner of the Mandi District, Shri Apoorv Devgan, IAS (HP: 2015 Batch) on behalf of the Mandi Tibetan Welfare Office and Tibetan Community.

The Settlement Officer welcomed him and appreciated his immense support towards the Tibetan community at his previous posting. During the interaction with the Deputy Commissioner, the TSO briefed on the current community status and also presented a petition stating the pending procedure of the official formalities of the Land Lease as per Tibetan Rehabilitation Policy-2014 and Himachal Pradesh TRP-2015 urging his guidance and support towards the issues, to which the DC extended assurance to look after the matter and do his best in the interest of the community.

Following that the TSO called on the newly appointed Superintendent of Police, Mandi district, Sakshi Verma to convey his warm greetings.
