
Bylakuppe: The Tibetan Settlement Officers of Lugsung Samdupling and Dekyi Larso Tibetan settlement received the Honourable Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri Siddaramaiah, on 24 January at the Bylakuppe-based Sambhota Tibetan School as the latter’s helicopter touched down on the school’s playground en route to his official visit to Koppa town.
Chief Minister Shri Siddaramaiah was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri D.K. Shivakumar, and the state’s Agriculture Minister, Shri N. Chaluvaraya Swamy.
During the reception, the Tibetan Settlement Officers respectfully appealed to the high-level dignitaries from the state government to continue providing assistance in safeguarding the welfare of Tibetan settlers in the area. The duo handed over a memorandum letter addressing the grievances of the residents of Lugsung Samdupling and Dekyi Larso Tibetan settlement to the honourable Chief Minister.
