Kollegal Tibetan Settlement Office Hosts Week-long Buddhist Introduction for Residents

Kollegal: The Kollegal Tibetan Settlement Office organised a week-long Buddhist teaching on the “Concise Introduction to the Four Noble Truths and Dependent Arising”, led by the esteemed Geshe Lobsang Dawa, on 1 April 2025. This sacred event has drawn a devoted assembly of community members, eager to deepen their understanding and receive the Dharma teachings with sincerity and faith.

In addition to the public teachings, Geshe Lobsang Dawa has shared his presence and wisdom at the Old Age Home, offering heartfelt guidance and comfort to the elderly residents. He also visited the local Tibetan school, where he engaged with students and teachers, stressing the significance of moral values and the role of education. Furthermore, Geshe Lobsang Dawa provided practical insights on breathing meditation and offered valuable advice to the staff of Settlement Office to encourage a mindful and compassionate approach to public service.

The teachings will continue through 7 April, culminating in prayers and dedications for the well-being of all sentient beings.
