New Delhi: Kalon (Minister) Norzin Dolma of the Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR) commenced a diplomatic outreach initiative in New Delhi beginning on 15 April 2025.
As part of this three-day initiative, Kalon held meetings with seven ambassadors, high commissioners, or chargés d’affaires; five deputy chiefs of mission; and several senior officials of eight embassies or high commissions representing countries across three continents.
During these engagements, Kalon provided an overview of the upcoming series of events commemorating the 90th birthday of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. These celebrations are scheduled to take place in Dharamshala, India, and will extend across the nation and internationally.
In her discussions, Kalon emphasised the enduring strength of the Tibetan freedom movement, highlighting its resilience amid evolving geopolitical landscapes.
Kalon Norzin Dolma was accompanied by Representative Jigme Jungney and Secretary Dhundup Gyalpo in all these meetings.
