Dharamshala: Officiating Sikyong Dolma Gyari, Kalon (Minister) of the Department of Security (CTA), attended the Tenzin Delek Rinpoche Medal of Courage: A Symbol of Enduring Resistance, held in McLeod Ganj, Dharamshala as a chief guest.

The event was jointly organised by the Tibetan Youth Congress, Tibetan Women’s Association, National Democratic Party of Tibet, Students for a Free Tibet, and the International Tibet Network.

This year, the Tulku Tenzin Delek Rinpoche Medal of Courage was conferred upon Tulku Hungkar Dorjee, in recognition of his steadfast dedication and sacrifice for the Tibetan cause.

In her address, Kalon Dolma Gyari paid tribute to the late Tulku Tenzin Delek Rinpoche, recalling the brutal circumstances surrounding his death in a CPC custody and his lifelong commitment to the Tibetan struggle. She also commended Tulku Hungkar Dorjee for his unwavering courage and sacrifice in the pursuit of Tibet’s freedom and justice.
