Bhandara, Maharashtra: India Tibet Coordination Office (ITCO), Delhi, organised a programme in Legend inn, Nagpur on 1 March with Arvind Nikose (Co-Convener) in attendance along with Jigmey Tsultrim (ITCO coordinator), Settlement Officer Kalsang Sichoe, TWA Vice President Tsering Dolma and 32 members from the core group for Tibetan cause, India – Tibet Friendship Society, India – Tibet Friendship Society (Women Wing), Bharat – Tibet Sahyog Movement and Samta Sainik Dal.
Coordinator Jigme Tsultrim introduced the three guests, after which Arvind Nikose addressed the Tibet issue. Following that, Tsering Dolma Introduced and gave a brief history on the evaluation of TWA, how TWA started from Tibet to India, the prime motive of TWA, and the four appeals of TWA.
In the end, Kalsang Sichoe expressed his gratitude and talked about the Norgyeling settlement, how it was formed from the year 1972 and the settlers’ difficulties settling due to scorching heats. Later he spoke about how he came from Tibet to India as a refuge at 6. He also talked about his educational journey and how he is trying to contribute to Tibetan society.
