Ravangla, Sikkim: An inauguration ceremony was held for the newly constructed Kunphenling Settlement Office on 14 February 2024 with the funding of the Department of Home.

The inauguration was attended by the Settlement Officer Tenzin Lekshey, Presidents of the Local Tibetan Assembly and Tibetan Freedom Movement, Secretary of the Cooperative Society, Headmistress of Sambhota Tibetan School, Caretaker of Thupten Dhargeyling Monastery,  representatives of the local Tibetan associations and camp leaders of the settlement.

The ceremony began with the Rinpoche of Lelung Nyagton Monastery performing the rites along with the Khenpo and Lopon. Thereafter, the Settlement Officer Tenzin Lekshey delivered a brief introduction on the project and expressed gratitude to those involved on its successful completion.
