Dharamshala: On 30 November 2025, the Hon’ble Revenue Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Jagat Singh Negi, along with Shri Harish Janathan (MLA) and his family, received an audience with His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama at his residence in Dharamshala.

Home Secretary Palden Dhondup, and the Secretary of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Trust, Jamphel Lhundup, accompanied the Hon’ble Minister and MLA during the special audience.

The delegation discussed with His Holiness about the various land-related issues faced by the Tibetan community in Himachal Pradesh.

During the audience, the Revenue Minister expressed that the Government and people of Himachal Pradesh feel deeply blessed to have His Holiness residing in Dharamshala. He reaffirmed the State Government’s commitment to continuing to extend all necessary support to the Tibetan people.

His Holiness conveyed that he has always found the people of Himachal Pradesh to be peace-loving and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Government and the people of the state for their continuous and unwavering support to the Tibetan community.
