Dharamshala: On 6 December, Home Kalon is scheduled to meet officials at Delhi.
On 7, he will leave for Bangalore and on the next day he will meet with the Chief Minister of Karnataka to apprise and request for a budget provision from the state budget towards recurring expense and developmental projects of the five south Tibetan settlements and Chief Representative Office,(CRO) where maximum Tibetan population resides, eventually the budget will help in achieving sustainability of the settlements.
On 9 morning, he will leave for Hunsur Rabgyeling Tibetan Settlement and afternoon be the Chief Guest at a public meeting where Assistant Commissioner and other district officials will be present for the distribution of RTC to farmers.
After the program, he will leave for Bylakuppe and on the 10 December, Kalon will attend the inaugural ceremony of the newly constructed His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Palace followed by Chief Guest at the 29th Conferment ceremony of Nobel Peace Prize to His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama at Bylakuppe.
Next day on the 11 December, Kalon will witness the releasing of Cauvery water drinking project to Bylakuppe Tibetan settlements and locals in the presence of local leaders and state government officials, the project is a state government funded project worth Rs 1500 crores.
Followed by a visit to inspect ongoing home department projects at Bylakuppe.
On 12 December, Kalon will grace the inaugural ceremony of the new construction of Bylakuppe Old Aged Home as the Chief Guest.
In the Afternoon, he will attend a meeting with the community leaders (Shungmol).
On 13 December, Kalon will depart Bylakuppe for Dhondenling Tibetan Settlement, Kollegal and in the afternoon attend a public meeting.
On 14 December, Leave for Bangalore and visit Nelamangla Institute for small trade learning, where he will review on the future prospects and projects of the Institute.
Kalon’s visit program is being coordinated by CRO, Bangalore. On 15 December, Kalon will depart for Delhi from Bangalore and reach Dharamsala on 17 December 2018.
