Dharamshala: The task force from the Department of Health, CTA, in March conducted a telemedicine awareness campaign at the Tibetan Primary Health Care centres in Miao, Ravangla, and Bhandara districts to deepen public knowledge of the value of Telemedicine and the services it provides. The Tibetan communities located in rural with far-off hospitals are the program’s central target locations.
There is a need to keep up with such advancements because the world is rapidly changing in terms of technological growth. In addition, such services are essential as they enable patients to obtain medical care and treatment remotely without visiting medical institutions physically. Therefore, Telemedicine is becoming increasingly significant in today’s healthcare system.
It is a crucial tool in modern healthcare that can assist in increasing patient outcomes, saving costs, and enhancing access to care. With time, Telemedicine will likely become an even more critical part of the healthcare landscape.
