
Dharamshala: From 13 to 24 October 2025, Optimum Service Module (OSM) Programme Coordinator Tsering from the Department of Health visited Tibetan Primary Health Centres in Miao, Tezu, Delhi, and Dekyiling settlement as part of the ongoing ‘Health Facility Quality Assurance Program.’
The visit aimed to ensure that community health centres continue to deliver quality and accessible healthcare services. He reviewed the centres’ infrastructure, governance, service delivery, staffing, and also observed completed health-related projects. During the visit, he met with the respective Settlement Officers and hospital administrators to discuss current challenges and emerging needs.
A short training session was also conducted for health staff on strengthening the relationship between health workers and patients to promote effective communication and patient-centred care.
