DHARAMSHALA: The Department of Education, Central  Tibetan Administration distributed 118 scholarships for post graduate and professional studies out of 136 applicants. The decision was taken at the scholarship committee meeting held on 8th September, 2014.

Recipients include 5 PhD, 3 MPhil, 107 Masters and 3 Chartered Accountancy candidates.

  Scholarships for Correspondence Courses

The Department of Education announces 50 scholarships for students  pursuing the following courses through Correspondence Course:

1) 20 Scholarships for Tibetan Teachers to help enhance their knowledge and professional growth.
2) 20 Scholarships for Tibetan youths who have not been able to pursue undergraduate  studies as a regular student.
3) 10 Scholarships for CTA staff to pursue higher education
