Ladakh: Secretary Dhondul Dorje of the Department of Religion and Culture under Central Tibetan Administration, visited Ladakh in late August and met with key religious and administrative officials. During his official visit, the Secretary presented resolutions from the 15th Tibetan Religious Conference and copies of the His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s recent book, “Voice for the Voiceless”.

On 26 August 2025, Secretary Dhondul Dorje met with Shri Pasang Lhawang, the President of the Zanskar Buddhist Association (ZBA) in Padum and the All Zansker Gonpa Association (ZGA) President Geshe Stanzin Gelek.

The Secretary’s visit continued on 3 September 2025, where he officially visited Shri Chering Dorjey Lakrook, President of the Ladakh Buddhist Association (LBA), and Shri Dorje Stanzin, President of the All Ladakh Gonpa Association (LGA).

On following day, Secretry Dhondul Dorje was granted an audience with Kyabje Thiksey Rinpoche and also met with the Chief Executive Councillor of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Shri Tashi Gyalson.
