Dharamshala: The Department of Health, Central Tibetan Administration, successfully concluded an EMC (Every Mother and Child) workshop for Tibetan settlements in Dehradun on 8 June 2026, with a total of 41 participants.

Key speakers invited for the workshop sessions on maternal and child healthcare included Jamyang Gyaltsen (Manjushri Educational Services), Dr Tenzin Phagdol (newborn and child health specialist), and Tsering Sonam (MBBS), Doctor at the TPHC Dekyiling.

The workshop, held at the Dekyiling Tibetan Settlement, was conducted with generous financial support from the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs (USDOS-SCA).
