Dharamshala: The 41st Governing Body Meeting of the Tibetan Administration’s Welfare Society (TAWS) was held on 25 February 2026 at the Department of Finance, Central Tibetan Administration. The meeting was chaired by Sikyong Penpa Tsering. Other members in attendance included Secretary Tsering Dhondup (Department of Finance), Secretary of the Governing Body; Secretary Jampa Phuntsok (Department of Health); Secretary Dhondul Dorjee (Department of Religion and Cultrue); and Kalsang Sichoe, member of the Society.

During the meeting, the Governing Body adopted the Financial Report for FY 2024–2025 and approved the revised budget for FY 2025–2026, as well as the proposed budget for FY 2026–2027, for both the TAWS Head Office and the TAWS Gas Agency. Among the eleven agenda items discussed, the Body also approved the procurement of essential assets for the TAWS Gas Agency.
