Department of Education to choose two students for UWC Thursday, 3 July 2008, 12:35 p.m.
Dharamshala: The Department of Education of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) is conducting test for Tibetan students to study at United World College (UWC) at the Lhakpa Tsering Memorial Hall of the Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR).
Yesterday, the students sat for Tibetan and English written test.
Two selected students will be given opportunity to study at the Mahindra college in Pune, India and the Atlantic college in UK.
Every year the department conducts UWC test.
Some 56 Tibetan students from 17 different Tibetan schools have appeared for this year’s examination.
