
Department of Education Concludes Scholarship Awareness and Monitoring Program in Delhi and Vadodara
The Department of Education (DoE), CTA, successfully concluded its Scholarship Awareness and Monitoring Program, held from 11 to 13 February 2025, for Tibetan students in Delhi and Vadodara. This initiatives aimed to educate students about DoE scholarship opportunities while evaluating ongoing program for future improvements.
The Department of Education, CTA’s scholarship section dealing staff Tenzin Samdup and Lobsang Dhargye met Tibetan students of Delhi at Regional Welfare Office and Tibetan Youth Hostel Delhi on 11 February and 13 February respectively, and Tibetan students of Vadodara at Tulsi Hotel Hall on 12 February 2025. Students were informed of essential information on eligibility, application processes, and the benefits of various scholarships.
This initiative program is funded by German Aid for Tibetans and was successfully completed with the support from the Tibetan Settlement Office Delhi Samyeling, Tibetan Youth Hostel Delhi, and Tibetan student representatives of Delhi and Vadodara.
Building on last year’s initiative focused on Tibetan students in South India, this awareness program continued in the North Zone cities in November 2024. The DoE remains committed to providing educational opportunities for Tibetan students, ensuring that no deserving individual is left uninformed or unsupported in their academic journey.
