
Dehradun: On the occasion of Diwali, the Tibetan Settlement Officer, Dehradun, Dr Tsewang Phuntsok accompanied by Ms Tenzin Dolma, Office Secretary, Mr Jampa Lobsang Office Accountant and Mr. Dorjee Tenzin paid a series of courtesy visits to extend festive greetings and good wishes to the Hon’ble Governor of Uttarakhand, Lt Gen. Gurmit Singh (Retd.), Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, Tourism and Culture Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Satpal Maharaj, Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand, Shri Anand Bardhan, District magistrate (DM) of Dehradun, Shri Savin Bansal and other respected dignitaries of Dehradun.
During the visits, the Settlement Officer conveyed heartfelt wishes on behalf of the Tibetan community and expressed deep appreciation for the continuous support and goodwill extended by the State Government and local administration towards the Tibetan people residing in Uttarakhand. The meeting also reaffirmed the strong relationship and mutual respect between the Tibetan administration and the Government of Uttarakhand.
The visits concluded with the exchange of Diwali greetings and tokens of goodwill, marking the spirit of friendship and cultural harmony that continues to strengthen the bond between the Tibetan and Indian communities.
