Dehradun: As part of the Year of Compassion Programme, the Dehradun Ghoton Committee organised a free lunch for 500 people and distributed 320 blankets at Maldevta on 16 December 2025.

Following this, 320 blankets were distributed to these people for the cold winter season.

The programme was jointly carried out with Dr Tsewang Phuntsok, Tibetan Settlement Officer (TSO) Dehradun, along with Rajpur Cooperative Tibetan Society representative Samten Choephel, Dekyiling community staff Sonam Lhawang, members of the Regional Tibetan Youth Congress, Regional Women’s Association, Tsering Dhonden Tibetan Settlement representative Chime Dorjee, local women’s association members, and the camp leader.
