São Paulo, Brazil: On October 31, 2023, the 42nd Kyabgon Gongma Trizin, Ratna Vajra Rinpoche, and his entourage were warmly welcomed by Jigme Tsering, the Representative of H.H. the Dalai Lama for Latin America and the Executive Director of Tibet House Brasil at São Paulo, Brazil. Also present was the Lama Rinchen Khenrab, Head monk of Mosteiro Sakya Tsarpa, Brazil, located in Carbreauva, São Paulo, as well as numerous devoted followers.
The evening of November 1, 2023, marked a historic occasion as Tibet House Brasil officially inaugurated its new location at R. Guarará, 108, in the Jardim Paulista, São Paulo. The consecration and inaugural ceremony were led by the 42nd Kyabgon Gongma Trizin, Ratna Vajra Rinpoche, signifying a significant milestone for Tibet House Brasil and the Tibetan community in Brazil.
The ceremonial ribbon-cutting was performed by Kyabgon Gongma Trizin, Ratna Vajra Rinpoche, accompanied by key members of the organisation.
The consecration and inauguration of Tibet House Brasil’s new location at R. Guarará, 108, CEP- 01425-000 served as a momentous occasion symbolising the organisation’s unwavering commitment to preserving Tibetan culture and tradition in Brazil. With the gracious presence of Kyabgon Gongma Trizin, Ratna Vajra Rinpoche, and the wholehearted support of the Board of Directors, Council members, and well-wishers, the event marked a substantial stride in Tibet House Brasil’s journey. The new location is poised to become a centre for cultural enrichment and spiritual growth, further strengthening the connections between the Tibetan and Brazilian communities.
