Mainpat: On 9 July 2025, at Mainpat Phendeling settlement, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Vishnu Dev Sai visited the settlement to inaugurate the Tibetan Refugee Multipurpose Cooperative Society’s newly built Buddha statue and its project at Ropakhar.

On the same day, The Mainpat TSO and its office staffs met with National General Secretary of BJP, Shri BL Santosh on behalf of all the Tibetans residing in Mainpat. The settlement representative presented the BJP’s General Secretary with the Buddha’s Statue as a souvenir.
