
Dignitaries during the inaugural program of 10th Tawang Tirth Yatra
Delhi: The 10th Tawang Tirth Yatra organised by Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Manch (BTSM) was flagged off from Guwahati, Assam on 1st Dec. 2021. Maaniya Shri Indresh Kumar ji, Senior RSS Pracharak and Patron, BTSM inaugurated the Yatra by offering his best wishes and blessing the yatris participating in the Yatra which is to be held from 1st December to 7th December, 2021.
On the occasion, the Deputy Speaker of the Government of Assam, Dr Numol Momin; Bharat Tibet Sahyog Manch National Working President Shri Harjit Singh Grewal, Vice President Shri Rinchen Khando Khrimey (Former MP and Minister, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh), Kalon Gyari Dolma, Department of Security CTA; BJP Organisational Secretary, Northeast India Shri Ajay Jamwal, BTSM General Secretary Shri Pankaj Goyal, Guwahati MLA Shri Hemang Thakaria, Raja of Meghalaya among presence of many other dignified dignitaries.
The 10th Tawang Tirth Yatra which started from Guwahati, Assam will reach Tawang after passing through Bomdila, Dirang, Sela Pass, Jaswantgarh via Bhalukpong, which is called the gateway to the land of Rising Sun Arunachal Pradesh via Nagaon and Tezpur.

On reaching Tawang, the yatris will pay a visit to the famous Tawang Monastery and get blessing from there for their onward journey. The next day, they will visit the Indo-Tibetan border at Bumla. There they will do Dharti Poojan, worshiping the earth for the territorial integrity of Bharat Maa. On its return journey, the yatris will visit Sangesar Tso popularly known as Madhuri Lake and Jang Water Falls; and finally concluding the Yatra back at Guwahati, Assam.
The Tawang Tirth Yatra has been one of the major annual events of Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Manch which aims to remind the Communist China that Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India and to highlight the illegal occupation of Tibet by the Communist China. Its slogan is Tibbat ki Azadi, Kailash Mansarovar ki Mukti aur Bharat ki Suraksha.
Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Manch has been one of the strongest supporters of the Tibetan cause since its inception on 5th May, 1999 under the leadership of Maaniya Shri Indresh Kumar and Maaniya Shri Sudarshan.
