Kalimpong, Sonada: Additional Election Commissioner Tsering Youdon successfully completed the final phase of her public outreach program for the 2025–26 Sikyong and 18th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile elections across the northeastern Tibetan settlements.

On 27 October 2025, she conducted a public awareness session at the Kalimpong Tibetan Settlement, where she elaborated on key electoral procedures and emphasised the importance of informed voter participation. Later in the afternoon, she held another awareness session at the Sonada Tibetan Settlement, focusing on the rights and responsibilities of voters in a democratic system. She highlighted the need to uphold the principles of free, fair, and transparent elections, encouraging the public to take part actively and responsibly in the upcoming electoral process.

The following day, she departed for Delhi, marking the successful completion of her electoral outreach tour in the northeastern region. The series of awareness programs aimed to strengthen democratic participation and ensure a wider understanding of electoral processes within the Tibetan Community in exile.
