Shillong: On 19 October 2025, under the public outreach initiative of the Election Commission, Central Tibetan Administration, the  Additional Election Commissioner Tsering Youdon undertook an official visit to the Shillong Tibetan Settlement to raise voter awareness and strengthen coordination with the regional election bodies.

The Additional Election Commissioner held a public awareness session in Shillong, where she highlighted the key electoral procedures, emphasising active voter participation in the upcoming Sikyong and 18th Tibetan Parliamentarian elections in 2026. She also held separate meetings with Regional Election Commission members, during which she clarified doubts, and guided members on the proper conduct of election responsibilities.
