DHARAMSHALA: The Middle Way Approach desk of the Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR) held a half-day interactive workshop on Umaylam- the middle way approach for class 10 students participating in the annual leadership workshop organised by Department of Education.

The workshop focused on the the meaning of Middle Way Approach, its relevance, evolution and achievements since its inception in the late 1970’s.

The workshop was conducted by Ms Sonam Sangmo, head of DIIR’s Middle Way Approach desk with Ms Kalden Tsomo, Mr Tenzin Jamchhen and Mr Jamphel Shonu from DIIR.

At least three hundred Tibetan students took part in the workshop which included a question and answer session.
