DHARAMSHALA: From the academic session 2016, the schools under Tibetan Children Village (TCV) and Tibetan Homes Foundation has started implementing Basic Education Policy (BEP) for Tibetans in exile. Mr Karma Chungdak, Director of Sambhota Tibetan Schools Society visited Tibetan Homes School, Mussoorie and Rajpur on 6th and 7th September, 2016, respectively for the purpose of mentoring the implementation of BEP in these schools. Similarly, for the same purpose, Mr Tsering Samdup, Director of Education Council, DoE visited Lower TCV School on 13 September, 2016. During the mentoring process, they observed Pre-primary and Primary Classes, held discussions with the teachers and clarified some of the doubts regarding the implementation of BEP. Gradually, DoE officials will visit rest of the schools.
At the beginning of this year’s academic session, the Director of STSS visited TCV Gopalpur, TCV Suja and TCV Chauntra and the Director of Education Council, DoE visited THS Mussoorie, THS Rajpur and SOS-TCV Bylakuppe to give talk and guide the teachers regarding the implementation of BEP.
