
BANGALORE: Ms Fay Fellow, the Student Programme Manager and Ms. Estefania Student’s Teacher from Pestalozzi International Village Trust, are currently screening the 15 nominated students (13 students under DOE and 2 students under Pestalozzi Children’s Village, Dehradun) for the Pestalozzi scholarship 2017 Entry at Chief Representative Office, Bangalore from 1 – 4 August. The screening process is being conducted by the Pestalozzi International Village Trust (PIVT) based in UK, in collaboration with the Department of Education of the Central Tibetan Administration. Mr. Jamyang Wangyal, Deputy Secretary, South Zone Counselor Cell, Mundgod and Mr. Lobsang Dhargyal, Office Superintendent, DOE coordinating the program with them.
A total of 15 shortlisted were class 10-passed last March and are sitting for an entry level test of English Reading, Writing & Listening Skills, Science, Mathematics, and Personal Interviews at the Chief Representative’s Office Bangalore. There are 5 students from TCV Selakui, 3 from THF Mussoorie and 2 students from TCV Gopalpur; 1 each from CST Mundgod, TCV Bykakuppe, Private School and 2 from Pestalozzi Dehradun.
Pestalozzi International Village Trust (PIVT), UK has been closely associated with the DOE for a very very long time and very kind in providing fully funded scholarships for Tibetan students every year to study two year A Level course at Sussex Coast College in Hastings, UK.
