His Holiness the Dalai Lama began a seven-day teachings this morning at the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies at Sarnath in Uttar Pradesh, India. Around 20,000Buddhist devotees from around the world, including Tibetans, Chinese, Taiwanese, Mongolians, Russians and southeast Asians are attending the teachings on“Kamalashila’s “The Middling Stages of Meditation”(gomrim barpa) and Shantideva’s “A Guide To the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life (chodjug)”.
