DHARAMSHALA: Sikyong Dr Lobsang Sangay briefly attended the final day of the three-day strategic planning workshop held from 31 January – 2 February.
The first two days of the workshop was devoted to strategic planning while the final day was focused on the outreach campaign of the Central Tibetan Administration.
Exhorting the importance of synergy, Sikyong spoke about consolidating the diverse efforts of the various departments of the Central Tibetan Administration to amplify the outreach campaign.
“The India Outreach campaign is going well under the India-Tibet Coordination Office (ITCO) based in New Delhi. However, we need to coordinate even more to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects,” Sikyong said.
Participants of the workshop include Representative Lhakpa Tshoko from OOT Australia, Representative Lungtok from OOT Japan, Mr Tamdin Dorjee from OOT Nepal, Representative Tempa Tsering from the Bureau of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in New Delhi. Other participants include staff from India-Tibet Coordination Office (ITCO), DIIR’s environment desk, and Ms Yeshi Wangmo, Additional Secretary of DIIR.
Dr Peter Traub moderated the three-day workshop, organised by DIIR’s Project section.
